Friday

Interesting response from the New York State Sheriffs’ Association on unelected gov. Hochuls new gun laws.

"The new firearms law language first saw the light of day on a Friday morning and was signed into law Friday afternoon.  A parliamentary ruse was used to circumvent the requirement in our State Constitution that Legislators — and the public — must have three days to study and discuss proposed legislation before it can be taken up for a vote.  The Legislature’s leadership claimed, and the Governor agreed, that it was a “necessity” to pass the Bill immediately, without waiting the Constitutionally required three days, even though the law would not take effect for two full months"

Albany’s business as usual with Hochul continuing the pay-to-play corruption

There is nothing subtle about Gov. Kathy Hochul’s approach to ethical government — she’s against it, and it shows.

But there’s something perversely refreshing about Hochul’s contempt for conflict-of-interest convention. She scarcely pretends to care, and how often does that happen?

  1. Why should Hochul care.... it's not as if she's going to suffer any negative consequences for her misconduct.

  2. Ron E.... HOCHULS complaint is she's bigger than the SUPREME COURT and they are interfering with her judgment and governmental duties/rights. She is a legend in her own mind..and her new law will bite the SCOTUS bullet soon enough.

  3. So..NOV 2022 behind us and miraculously 38 yrs of GOP rule was overturned.... Last week a man who hasnt taken office or oath yet introduced a gun control bill. Here we go....unconstitutional most of it...

Locallhy we got an LGBTQ AOC like candidate who beat out a pretty well liked JACK OMALLEY in an area of conservatives retired and farm workers...YES the exact people youd expect to vote for a radical candidate who is shown screaming radical rogue ICE..must be desolved and defund PD on tape...sarcasm intended.

Gonna be some 2nd amendment battles in MICH now....
